Airstreme pneumatic (air) misting systems

There are three main advantages of Ecolo air-operated misting systems, their low initial cost, design simplicity and over all build quality. The most common question is what system is right for my application or industry, Pneumatic (Air) or Hydraulic (liquid) systems. Depending on your reqiurements Ecolo can recommend the system to best service your needs and operational cost requirments.

Because air systems opperate at relatively low pressure, the components can often be made more cost effectively than hydraulic systems. Having said that, although the cost of an air system may be less than a hydraulic system the operating cost can be five to ten times higher. At Ecolo we typically recommend our Air misting systems for installations with smaller footprints such as those found in commercial applications (trashrooms, recycling rooms, etc).

Ecolo Pneumatic systems deliver a smaller particle or droplet size. This smaller particle size creates a longer suspension time in the atmosphere which in turn allows a better opportunity for the AirSolution to interact with the airborne odor causing molecules.

Two final factors to understand about pneumatic (Air-driven) misting systems; they are usually quieter than their hydraulic counterparts which is mainly due to the installation of the power source (the air compressor) remotely from the machine in an enclosure that helps contain its noise. Air-operated systems are always cleaner than hydraulic systems because atmospheric air is the force transmitter.

AirStreme Pneumatic Misting Systems are:

  • Durable
  • Economical
  • Performance Driven
  • Exceptional Quality
  • Fully Automated
