The presence of microbes with non-odorus by-products is increased while the presence of microbes with odorous by-prodcuts is decreased. BioStreme propagated faculatative bacteria aggressively continue the decomposition process of organic matter while simultaneously eliminating the odor producing mechanism. BioStreme can be applied to solid waste including organics as a surface contact treatment or incorporated directly into the odor causing substrate.
